Here’s what we’ll do together

In our safe space, you can be real, be vulnerable, be you.

I’ve long been interested in people and human behaviour which partly stems from my mixed heritage and childhood spent as a “third culture kid” in several countries. These lived experiences alongside a former 20 years in helping professions including Education, HR and Recruitment allow me to better understand and support clients from all walks of life.

My clients usually come to me when they are stuck and are struggling with some form of change, an unwanted experience, or they are dissatisfied with some aspect of their lives and are wanting change. Whether unexpected or self-initiated, change demands strength and resilience.

I aim to foster a space where my clients develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion alongside uncovering new perspectives so that they gain the courage to step out of their comfort zones.

I work with clients of all ages and phases in life, from childhood through early career, mid-life, and retirement. Whether you are struggling with thoughts of not being good enough, a sense of purpose and meaning, relationship issues, parenting, career-related challenges, school and studies, grief, or other life transitions, I can help you find your way and your voice.

my approach

It may feel unattainable right now, but you can gain clarity, you can gain confidence, and you can feel calm again.

I work with my clients collaboratively and tailor therapy and treatment plans according to their unique needs and goals. We will go at your pace and work out what is best for you. For some of you, that may mean going at a slower pace and holding space to process difficult and overwhelming emotions. In contrast, others may benefit from a brief and more structured solution-focused approach.

At the core of my approach to therapy is the belief that past hurts inform our present experiences and future fears and that we repeat what we don’t repair. It is because of this that I am deeply passionate about addressing the deeper and more complex work of trauma and attachment wounds which seem to be at the root of so many afflictions associated with anxiety and low self-worth. This involves working psychodynamically, aside from symptomatic relief alone, which can pave the way for more transformational healing.

Whatever the therapeutic style, I draw on evidence-based techniques in line with my Master’s training such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness to help you uncover the roots of your beliefs, break patterns from the past, and start living more consciously. Moreover, I ensure I best meet the needs of my clients by participating in continuous professional development and adopting a culturally sensitive lens.

In our sessions together, we will…

Uncover & Process

You will gain insight into yourself and awareness of what may have been suppressed or denied. This is about connecting with your truth. You will feel validated without needing approval from others.

Reframe & Recalibrate

You will learn to consider new perspectives and unlearn behaviours that no longer serve you. Through our work, you will also discover tools to alleviate anxiety and self-doubt so that you can better navigate adversity.

Repair & Reconnect

The final step in healing is achieved through reclaiming your life and moving forward with purpose and intention. Explore and experiment with new ways of showing up for yourself and relating with others.
